A great place to stay in Greer, But... Positive: This was a great house for our 3 family members. All imaginable needs were met and everything was in working order especially the heating system which kept us warm during the very cold nights. The house was clean and near a Walmart, restaurants, etc. Parking was next to the house and the price was fair. One issue however detracted from the overall very positive experience (see below). Negative: The property is located approximately 200 meters from a railroad crossing. Several times each night, trains blared their horns at full volume for about a minute as they approached the crossing, warning vehicles of their presence. The noise was deafening and woke us each time, with earplugs offering only partial relief. While we adapted, knowing this in advance might have led us to choose a different property.

This was a last minute booking, we were supposed to attend a wedding at Lake Lure, everything got moved to Greer! The owner was accommodating with having more than 8! The house reminded my brother and I of the house we grew up in. It all worked out well and we all lived the house!
